I founded this playground project!
Scotlandville Garden Park, formerly a 5 vacant lot dumping ground "eye sore" w/ 12 foot high grass in my neighborhood that no one was attending is now beautiful - We recrutied residents from the community and we partnered w/ Southern Univ to provide lawn equipment thru a grant to clear the grounds - we cut grass for 7 years before we could partner with Baton Rouge Green for tree planting and a beautiful flower bed- we now need playground equipment to finsh off the project
