The City of Fontana demonstrated a willingness to play on Saturday September 24 at the Boys and Girls Club of Fontana. Our Play Day was a tremendous success and offered numerous play activities for residents of all ages. The extremely popular Mobile Recreation Unit was out in full force providing face painting and balloon animals to all in attendance, staff at the Boys & Girls Club and the City of Fontana Community Services Department organized several picnic style games and activities including: hula till you drop, potato sack races, cha cha slide dance contest, and the Rock Paper Scissors Championship of Fontana!! Participants also had an opportunity to create family oriented arts & crafts, and since it was a warm beautiful day, each participant was also treated to a snow cone, compliments of the Fontana Mayor's Youth Advisory Council.
