Beverly Park was purchased by the City of Mesa in 2003. It has about 2.86 acres of undeveloped land and is situated east of Alma School Rd. just north of Main St. KaBOOM! and the Home Depot Foundation will be building a new playground at Beverly Park on Wednesday, June 3, 2009.

Park of the Canals is a historical site with remnants of the Hohokam canal system dating back to 700 B.C. It features a botanical garden and playground for children. The aging playground equipment was removed several years ago and now thanks in part to KaBOOM! and the Home Depot Foundation, Park of the Canals will be renovated, brining new life to the play area.
