Youth need to do more tinkering & playing. I work for an international education nonprofit, so if anyone wants to chat about potential thought leadership collaboration on how we can take this to scale through curriculum development and cross-cultural connection, please let me know! scott@oneworldyouthproject.org

    Our Dream Playground

Changes and fixes for the week ending 5/12/2012

    • Help! We've added a new help page where you can send us a help request! Help page.

    • If you've added a video to your project, the video will appear first, instead of your photos.

    • When you complete a task, you will no longer switch to the Project Leader/Mile Marker 1 section. You will stay in the section where you are checking tasks off.

    • We've added helpful reminders on certain pages and on certain actions that let you know about next steps you should take. For instance, if you've added a video for the contest, you'll see a reminder that tells you to complete your grant application.

    • We've added City and State options to help donors and volunteers narrow down search results.

    • Created a new badge: Maurice Sendak Tribute. Read all about it.

    • You can now sort the comments within your project by Newest First, Oldest First, and by the poster's name (A-Z).

    • Dozens of smaller errors from getting Team Members to appear correctly to fixing the alignment of content to comment dates and many more.

Many of those smaller errors we fixed were found by people like YOU!

We really appreciate all the phone calls and the emails we've received from our brave Early Adopters. The time you take to let us know of a problem really goes a long way towards making this a fantastic tool to help you plan your dream playground. Please keep those calls and emails coming-- and don't forget our new Help page too!

Cash 4 Kids Playground Grants lasts until June 29 and could help you save big on playgrounds, like LB-2035, pictured here. Choose from one of our featured designs or have your local representative design a custom play structure to fit your space and budget.

    See there rest at http://www.bciburke.com/cash-4-kids.html

The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Bernardino is serious about providing young people in the community opportunities to play. In a time when childhood obesity is an increasing problem and budget cuts continue, BGCSB recognizes that it is vital to have safe places and spaces where children can be free to play, use their imaginations, laugh, and be children. During play, children have the opportunity to learn, create, and develop exponentially. BGCSB is committed to providing the children in the community of San Bernardino with those opportunities in helping them become productive, caring and responsible members of society.
